Words do not teach at all. It is life experience that brings you your knowing. But when you hear words that are a vibrational match to the knowing that you have accumulated, then sometimes it's easier for you to sort it all out.

trending topic: far east inspired

What a beautiful day today. We managed to get to the beach for some good sunshine with lunch. After this week's thaw there's actually signs of spring. Not so sure how long this look will last, so here are some things that are making me think- signs of spring.

I have been feeling an extra bit of fondness for objects with a far east feel, especially ornithological. Herend is always at the top of my lux list, and I never seem to get bored with Herend's classical hand painted patterns, like Rothschild Bird Green, my mother's favorite dishes. And don't forget the chubby teapot with the tweety bird perched on top, so precious. Mom believes you always have room for more luxurious china.

Well friends, have a wonderful weekend.

My mother has several antique settings of various patterns similar to the above. Another trend I'm noticing, though not keen on, is insects on high end porcelain. Have you noted this, too? Yuck!
